Retro.
1950s roadside diners like the ones all over my home state, Nick at Nite, all the classics played a big role in my style and design. I love a good mid century font!
Punk.
My mom is my music inspiration and opened my mind to other cultures, foods, and religions. She would dye her hair all kinds of wild colors, managed bands, take me around NYC as a kid looking for the best deals on shoes and convinced me to get my first tattoo. She said to never judge always educate yourself first and try. She is the true epitome of punk.
Tattoo Inspired.
My husband has been tattooing for 20 years and when I wanted to get into making my own designs, he said "just draw". Very trad tattoo of him lol, but he was right!
You'll see most of my art is traditional tattoo style, with bold lines and colors. He's been a strict teacher and the best one I could ever have. I don't think I'd have confidence in my company or art if it wasn't for him.
